How to save to Basket on any device
What can I save to Basket?
You can save items from just about anywhere online to Basket. We’re compatible with hundreds of thousands of ecommerce stores and shopping apps. All you need to do is ‘share’ the product to the Basket app, in much the same way as you’d share something you found online to a friend via WhatsApp say. When the product you’ve shared includes a title, image and price we’ll add that to Basket too, if there are multiple images we’ll add as many as we can.
We like to think of Basket as being the perfect visual bookmarking tool for shopping, in some cases there might not be a price available, let’s say you’re wanting to save a new article about a soon to be released product. Try sharing this page to Basket and we’ll grab the image and the title for you for ease of later reference.
The key thing is that if you can share what you’re looking at, you can save it to Basket. Let’s look at each platform separately:
How to save products on iPhone (iOS) using the Safari browser
- Once you’ve found something you’d like to save to Basket on the web, make sure you’re on the actual product detail page where it tells you the price etc.
- In Safari there’s a share icon in the middle of the bottom of the screen, tap that.
- Tapping the share icon brings up a selection of sharing options, this will look slightly different to everybody depending on what apps and other things you have installed on your phone.
- You need to find and tap the Basket icon, once you’ve done that the product will be saved in your Basket account. All done.
Not seeing Basket as an option to share to?
- Sometimes the Basket app might not show up as one of the options for you to share to.
- Make sure you’ve tapped the ‘...’ button to bring up more options, check if Basket is listed there.
- To make it easier to find again you can pin it to the top of your sharing options by dragging it to the top of the list.
- If you still can’t find Basket as an option to share to we’ve added a place into the app where you can paste links and it’ll do the same thing.
Tip: Basket should also appear as one of the Quicklinks in the system menu that pops up after you tap share.

How to save products on iPhone using the Chrome browser

- Tapping the share icon brings up a selection of sharing options, this will look slightly different to everybody depending on what apps and other things you have installed on your phone.
- You need to find and tap the Basket icon, once you’ve done that the product will be saved in your Basket account. All done.

How to save products on Android using the Chrome browser

- In Chrome you need to firstly tap the three dots menu in the top right of the browser.
- About halfway down this menu page you’ll see ‘Share’ as an option. Tap that.
- Tapping the share icon brings up a selection of sharing options, this will look slightly different to everybody depending on what apps and other things you have installed on your phone.
- You need to find and tap the Basket icon, once you’ve done that the product will be saved in your Basket account. All done.

How to save products on desktop using the Basket website.
You can access your Basket account and save products on the Basket website on any browser. We find having more screen space for certain tasks really helps to speed things up.
- Head over to www.trybasket.com and login from the link right atop the page.
- You can add products to Quick Saves or directly into a basket you’ve already created by pasting a link (URL) of any product page anywhere online.
- Click paste and we’ll add the item image and price and add it to your Basket account. All done.
How to save products on desktop using the Basket extension for Chrome.
The Basket chrome extension allows you to save any product to your Basket whilst browsing the web on desktop without having to leave the page you’re on.
- You need to install the extension from Chrome’s Extension Store here.
- Make sure you click this button
- You should now see the Basket logo on the right hand side of your address bar. To save items all you need to do is click the Basket logo.
Tip: You can also just right click your mouse and save to Basket from the menu that appears next to your cursor
- To make sure Basket is always accessible you can pin the Basket icon to you address bar to ensure it’s always there when you need it
